The word "Kolter" has been THE term for cuddle blanket in Hesse since the 15th century. Kolter used to be made of scratchy but warm wool. Today, Kolter stands for high-quality and particularly cuddly soft blankets directly from Germany. They are not printed, but woven thread by thread according to traditional craftsmanship and sewn by hand. This means quality that will accompany you for many, many years.

Our standard adult size is 150 x 200 cm, 100 x 150 cm for toddlers, and 75 x 100 cm for babies. However, custom sizes are also available - just contact us at info@mykolter.de.

We offer 3 different qualities for you to choose from:

- Cotton blend (58% cotton & 35% polyacrylic & 7% polyester)
- 100% cotton from recycled cotton fibers
- 100% organic cotton

All materials are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Class 1 certified - tested for harmful substances, suitable even for babies.

Yes. Thanks to the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class 1 certification – the strictest category – all Kolter blankets are also suitable for babies and toddlers.

Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, without fabric softener. We recommend a mild detergent for delicate textiles.

Preferably, dry flat in the air. The tumble dryer can be used on a low setting — a short re-warming will restore the Kolter's texture.

In-stock items will be shipped within 1-2 business days of receipt of payment. You will automatically receive a tracking number via email.

Yes, for orders over €30, we offer free shipping within Germany.

No later than 5 working days before Christmas — that is, by December 19, or by December 17 if there's a weekend in between.

We provide a 3-year warranty on every Kolter from the date of purchase. This warranty extends beyond the statutory warranty — because we believe in our product.

Material and manufacturing defects. If something isn’t right, we’ll take care of it — no fuss, no quibbles.

You have a 14-day right of return from the receipt of the goods. Simply write to us at kundendienst@mykolter.de and we'll take care of the rest.

Yes. We weave your logo, your design, or your city motif directly into the Kolter — not printed, but woven. Write to us for a custom offer.

After sample approval, production takes approx. 4 to 8 weeks. You should allow 10 to 14 weeks for the entire process from initial consultation to delivery.

For custom collections, the minimum order quantity is 50 pieces. If you have any questions about smaller quantities, please contact us.
